Senior Customer Coordinator (Overseas, Jewelry)

The Senior Customer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with our key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service in the jewelry manufacturing sector. This role is crucial in requires someone with extensive knowledge of the Jewelry industry, who acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams to coordinate order processing, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and accurately.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently. This position is report directly to owner of the company.
Job Description:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing relationships and ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service.
- Utilize your deep understanding of jewelry design, materials, and production processes to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including team of order processing, design/CAD, production, quality assurance and shipping, to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor and track customer orders, providing regular updates to clients on the status and any potential delays.
- Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
- Responsible to arrange and maintain company's sample collection inventory to always be in the presentable manner.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for new and existing customers.
- Participate in International Jewelry Trade show and On-site or On-Line customer meetings, presentations, and events as needed to build and strengthen customer relationships.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs, issues, and opportunities for improvement to enhance service delivery and product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Gems & Jewelry Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service or account management within the jewelry industry, with a strong understanding of jewelry production processes and materials.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry design, precious metals, gemstones, and manufacturing techniques, including lost-wax casting and CAD/CAM processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts, ensure timely response, order fulfillment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; or other languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM working system and Microsoft Office (MS Mail Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva); knowledge in Microsoft Dynamic Navision is advantage (but not mandatory)
