Reporting to: Laboratory Supervisor / Assistant Laboratory Manager / Laboratory Manager
Job Description:
- To be responsible for smooth operation of routine analysis of petroleum, chemical, upstream, water, wastewater, etc.
- Carry out routine and non-routine analysis in accordance with customer requirements or standard methods.
- Knowledge of QHSE, ISO 9000, 14000, 18000 and 17025 systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices.
- Avoid engaging in activities that would diminish trust in competence, impartiality, judgment, or professional integrity.
- Perform inspections during use. (intermediate check tool bag related reference standards
- Ensure all glassware are properly cleaned, dried, and kept.
- Ensure all analysis results are checked before submission to the laboratory manager.
- Ensure safety and housekeeping are proper maintained.
- Ensure all testing equipment is proper maintained and calibrated in accordance with the program.
- Conduct reagent preparation and standardization.
- Control the inventory of chemical, glassware, spare part, and other materials needed.
- Attend to witnessing of tests in outside laboratory.
- Execute the task assigned by Laboratory Supervisor / Assistant Laboratory Manager / Laboratory Manager.
- Coordinate with another department and client for sample collection and dispatch.
Authority: Provide backup to Laboratory Supervisor by handling technical, managerial and regulatory issues that arise in their absence.
