HR Specialist (Chinese Speaking)

Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
• Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and plan recruitment strategies.
• Maintain recruitment records and prepare employment contracts.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Relations

• Serve as a key contact for employees’ concerns, promoting open communication and resolving workplace issues.
• Support implementation and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
• Investigate employee grievances or disciplinary matters and recommend appropriate actions.
• Coordinate contract renewals, employee benefits, and group insurance programs with relevant departments.

Training & Development

• Identify training needs and assist in designing and delivering relevant learning programs.
• Coordinate with government agencies such as the Department of Skill Development (DSD) for training approvals and reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to promote continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Chinese (HSK 5 or above, or equivalent) and English.
• Minimum of 2  years’ experience in HR, covering recruitment, training, and employee relations.
• Solid knowledge of recruitment strategies, interview techniques, and sourcing channels.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs in various formats.
• Strong understanding of labor laws and best practices in employee relations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in public speaking and delivering presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
