- Develop maintenance plans for buses on a scheduled basis to ensure operational readiness.
- Oversee preventive maintenance operations to avoid potential future problems.
- Inspect and assess the quality of bus maintenance work to meet standards.
- Prepare reports summarizing maintenance results and evaluate vehicle performance.
- Analyze issues in the bus systems or equipment.
- Propose plans to improve the maintenance system to align with the business and circumstances.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as operations or transportation teams.
- Liaise with manufacturers or suppliers to procure necessary parts or equipment.
- Expertise in mechanical systems and bus-related technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Analytical skills and capability in planning maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of regulations and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in bus or automotive maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting vehicle systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in buses.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or maintenance management systems (preferred).
